Heartland THRIVE Life

I’ve been a consultant for THRIVE Life (formerly Shelf Reliance) for some time now.     I finally signed up after realizing that I didn’t have the time, money or energy that would be needed to open a “brick &mortar”  version of the same types of products.

THRIVE Life is really three companies in one!   One aspect is delicious freeze-dried foods that cut down on prep time.  (I can always have dinner ready in 30 minutes or less!)  And with a shelf-life (unopened) of 25 years,   it’s like buying food for tomorrow at today’s prices!

Another is food rotation shelving units.   When friends see my Harvest shelf,  they immediately understand why I work so hard to get more free foods to fill that thing UP!

Thirdly,   THRIVE Life sells emergency preparedness supplies.   (Nope,  I’m not a freaky prepper with tuna stockpiled under my bed.   Like I’d tell you where the tuna was!)   I LOVE selling the emergency supplies to Moms that need the reassurance that they can help their families come what may!    Car broke down?  I have a solution!   Power goes out due to crazy Midwestern snow storm?   I  have what you need!

I love introducing new people to the foods,  the company and the friends I’ve made within this business!  Specifically,  Shelli Rasmussen  has been an invaluable asset to me.   The ideas she shares with me are fabulous.   I just  love that I’ve been trained by one of the best!

So whether you are in the Kansas City area or not,   I can help you set up a party so you can earn FREE FOOD!   Or,  I can show you how to make a little extra income by sharing a catalog FULL of helpful items.   Or SHOP online and then call me with any questions!

Another Year of This?

We started another year of homeschooling yesterday. Everyone was up and cheerful; it was amazing! Today, not so much. But we’re here and people are working. There’s a little more whining this morning but I’ll get over it by lunchtime, I promise. 🙂

Three boys. Three grades. Three VERY unique personalities. It’s a challenge to keep everyone’s brains engaged daily. It’s like juggling swords every day for five hours and not having anyone to bandage me up at 3 p.m. Exhausting, yes. Exciting, check.

So, each Wednesday around here, will be tales of three learners and their reluctant teacher. Coffee cup in hand, I’ll share what’s working and was in clearly NOT working. (Most likely much more to talk about in the latter category!)

Today’s “what’s working” is brand new cups. Amazing what a little refillable water glass that I let them keep on their desk has done for morale. Fill it up and keep your brain hydrated for the morning.

Today’s NOT WORKING item is ice in those cups. The rattling, the ice chewing, the straws creaking up and down, down and up….oh my stars!! WHY did I allow this?!?!

See? It’s a freakin’ carnival of thoughts here!
